Finally, an intermediate White Water Course for Packrafters - written and delivered by Packrafters!
This Course is designed to give you the skills and judgement to develop your White Water Skills. Building on your existing knowledge of White Water Packrafting, your ability will be assessed through your good judgement, planning and paddling skills on a wide range of river environments.
This Developers Course is suitable for Packrafters who already possess a solid foundation on Grade 2(3) water and who want to refine their techniques and and enhance their skills. Perfect for those wishing to develop the building blocks for more challenging water.
The Course will be run over 2 days and throughout you will be led by our team of experienced and knowledgeable Packraft Coaches. We also keep groups small - 4 Persons Maximum - ensuring you'll get lots of personalised coaching during your time with us and so you'll soon be running those rapids to the max.

The course is jam packed with information and techniques!
Here's a few of the key elements that the syllabus covers:
• Review of Raft Types, Set up and Repair, Clothing, Equipment selection
and Safety/ Rescue Kit.
• Assessment of current individual White Water Skills.
• Individualised and Tailored Coaching to develop your White Water Skill set.
This Course is both mentally and physically demanding and participants should be both physically fit and able swimmers. Candidates should ideally already possess a good level of White Water Packrafting experience to get the maximum benefit from this course. We'll provide you with full information in our comprehensive Booking Pack-Up, but feel free to ask if you would like to know more.
Equipment
As this is not a foundation level course you will normally be expected to be in possession of a suitable range of WW Packrafting equipment. We can, by arrangement, arrange for hire of equipment from our comprehensive store. Please email us for details.
